1. Information Collection & Google User Data

When you sign in using OAuth (Google, Twitch, Discord), we receive basic profile information such as your email, public avatar, and platform handles. Specifically for Google users, we access your basic profile and, if you explicitly grant permission, your YouTube subscription list.

2. Data Usage

We only use your Google user data to provide and improve our discovery features, such as a synced Watchlist that you can use to find more content, and social connectivity. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is necessary to operate the platform effectively. Your other user data is used solely to enhance your experience on ICDB.gg, such as personalizing content recommendations and enabling social features.

3. Data Sharing, Transfer & Disclosure

We **do not sell, rent, or trade** your Google user data or any other personal information to third parties. We do not transfer your data to ad networks, data brokers, or any other third-party services except as necessary to provide our core features (e.g., our secure database provider, Supabase).

We only disclose your information when required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users. No private Google user data is ever shared with other users or creators on the platform without your explicit action (like posting a review).

4. Data Protection Mechanisms

We employ enterprise-grade security to protect your sensitive information. Your data is encrypted in transit using **TLS 1.2+** and at rest using industry-standard **AES-256 encryption**.

Access to Google OAuth tokens is strictly restricted to our server-side environment. These tokens are stored in secure, encrypted sessions and are never exposed to the client-side browser or third-party scripts.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your Google user data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the platform's discovery features.

**Your Right to be Forgotten:** You may request full deletion of your account and all associated data, including Google user data, at any time by contacting us at support@icdb.gg. Upon request, we will purge all your personal data from our active databases within 30 days.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to manage your authentication session and local preferences (like theme settings). We do not use persistent cross-site tracking cookies.
